Loft Conversions in Enfield & Rear Extension

The brief was to make better use of the existing property while giving the family more room on every level. Our loft conversion Enfield project formed part of a wider transformation that combined a six-metre rear extension with a full refurbishment of the original three-bedroom home. Roof windows bring natural light into the room, and the retained brick chimney adds character to the clean modern finish.

The completed loft also includes a high-quality bathroom designed around the roof shape. Large-format neutral tiles, a freestanding bath, a walk-in shower and a wall-hung WC make the space feel open and uncluttered. Recessed lighting and concealed LED details provide a softer atmosphere, while the black fittings and vanity unit create a strong contemporary contrast. The result shows how an awkward roof space can become a valuable part of the home when the layout and finishing details are properly considered.

The rear extension was built from the foundations through to the finished interior, including the structure, roof, glazing, insulation and final surfaces. This created a larger ground-floor living area and improved the relationship between the house and garden. Four en suites were installed across the property, together with plastering, flooring, decorating and the final fit-out.
