We appointed North Star for our large extension and renovation project after putting the job out to tender and meeting with 6 other companies. We had some ridiculous quotes from several builders which we discounted. Leo came in at a fair price (not the cheapest, but not far off) and with a reasonable time estimate to complete the job. He could also start when we wanted (2 months after appointing) which was perfect as the 2 other companies we were considering had very long lead times. We found Leo very honest and easy to deal with throughout the entire process and importantly, he was always available in person or by phone if needed. He has a large team - mainly brothers and cousins - and I cannot fault any of them. They were all incredibly polite, tidy, and professional. The quality of the work is very good, and they can turn their hand to any little extra that you may decide you want during the project. We had some last-minute built-in storage cupboards in the eves in the loft room and a built-in media unit in the lounge that one of the team made to measure in 3 or 4 days and have had lots of comments on them for family and friends! His pricing is fair, and the work is of a high quality. Nothing was too much trouble. The job ran a little over the estimated time (not unusual) but importantly, to budget. We are extremely pleased with our new home, and I would have no hesitation in recommending North Sta, absolute amazing team.

Double storey extension& loft conversion.Thank you so much to Leo and your whole team. We can't praise you enough. We had a superb experience throughout, from start to finish. A clear contract was drawn up at the start and work was completed ahead of schedule. Excellent communication throughout, always patiently answering our many questions and giving regular updates, quality of work is fantastic, everybody was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable in their trades and we felt very comfortable having them in our home. Our house was always left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Leo and his team will be missed at our home, and we will gladly recommend North – Star and use them again should we need to in the future. It was so good to be able to trust Leo and his team with our project and to have had such a positive experience throughout.
House Extension,We are so glad we chose Leo for our extension, he has done an amazing job, controlled costs, given advice and suggestions to us. He is a joy to work with, kept us fully informed all the way through the build. His project management skills are second to none and removed a lot of headaches for us. Massive project costing over £150k overall. Excellent team, always making sure we’re happy with the work. New kitchen installed in new extension with new bathrooms. Started and finished work on time. Went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the work. Any issues would quickly be sorted by Leo and his team. They have many tradesmen on their team which makes big projects like mine easier to manage.

Kitchen was done to a very high standard. This was not the first time we worked with North Star and we chose them again due to the amazing experience we’ve had the first time around with our bathroom. Leo and his team helped us to move a washing machine and tumble dryer into our downstairs toilet and create a bespoke cupboard to fit them in, which included plumbing, building, painting and electrical work. They did a fantastic job and the cupboard looks like it was part of the original room and everything works perfectly. The team worked efficiently and left everything clean and tidy. The only small issue was it was quite difficult agreeing a date for the work in advance, but once it was booked in everything felt very well organised. I would recommend them!

This is the third time we have now used Leo and his team. As always very professional, hardworking, tidy and considerate. The Kitchen, Utility Room and Bathroom look great. Very please with the finish. They made living through the building work as painless as possible. Leo has a great team of people working for him. They would always go the extra mile for you. Incredibly pleased with the professionalism cleanliness punctuality and the pace of the work carried out. No corners cut, great communication throughout, bathroom looks even better than expected. Leo and his team went the extra mile and I appreciate the time and consideration they gave me as they knew I’d had a bad experience prior. Suggestions were made but never pushy, all work was carried out per requests and as agreed- if not more than anticipated!
